The cut is the easy part. It is easy the way a landing is easy, because somebody has done it ten thousand times and made it look like nothing.

It is also the part everything else leans on. Color grades a story that already works. VFX fixes a shot that already earns its place. The campaign carries a film that already lands. Get the cut wrong and the rest is expensive decoration.
